Finally, the Giclée Printmaker You've Been Looking For...

We are a leading Giclée printmaker featuring state-of-the-art production facilities located in Davidson, North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte. The founder, Gary Kerr, started publishing his father James L. Kerr, a respected watercolorist and instructor who has enjoyed a significant following as an artist. Fine Art Impressions has earned a national reputation for the quality of our services.

We have over 18 years of experience in digital printing technologies. With over 16 years of color and digital pre-press experience. We have also served as senior technology consultants to world-class companies, so you can expect a wealth of knowledge to be shared when talking with us. Our approach to fine art printmaking is clearly results oriented. Our commitment to quality and detail will win your confidence, and our entrepreneurial vision and spirit will inspire you to consider the possibilities that Giclée printmaking can open up to you. Because Fine Art Impressions was founded on the passion of our own family art, you can anticipate an enthusiastic and professional experience in doing business with us.

In-house Digital Photography Studio
At Fine Art Impressions, we understand how critical it is to start with a quality digital capture of the original artwork. That is why we have invested in a pure digital process. At the heart of our digital photography studio is Better Light's high resolution 4x5 digital camera back. Considered by museums to be the finest technology available for capturing rare and priceless works of art, it's mated to an impressive Cambo Ultima 4x5 studio view camera resulting in a no-compromise digital capture of your artwork. Our HID lighting will not subject your artwork to undue heat or UV rays, that is because we have built our studio around fine art reproduction — not general photography services. When your artwork arrives at our studio, it will be handled professionally and photographed in our digital photography studio with care and precision. The impressive digital capture will be archived to provide you with on-demand Giclée printmaking for years to come.

Shipping Your Art
If you would like to ship your original to us worry-free, we recommend buying a Masterpak or AirFloat art shipping box. These shipping containers are engineered to protect your art while in transit both ways. You can use these boxes over and over again, so don't let the initial cost dissuade you.

We also recommend U.S. Postal Express Mail Insured or FedEx Priority Insured for shipping your original art. Your artwork will be handled professionally with skill and care and be returned to you in your original shipping carton. As a reminder, ship art unframed without glass or matting, however, leave canvas art on stretch bars. Protect artwork on paper by sealing between two substrates such as cardboard prior to packing.

Institutional clients, please consider using FedEx's White Glove Service for high-value art (we'd love to see our next client break our previous record of having an $800,000 original reproduced at Fine Art Impressions; will it be you?).

If you are unsure about any aspect of packing or shipping your artwork, please call us at 1-800-419-4442 for assistance.
